Built around a calibrated SiC photodiode sensor with traceable NIST/PTB calibration, it accurately detects UVA and UVB radiation (250–400 nm) and converts measurements into a standardised UV Index (0–11+) value.
Equipped with LoRaWAN / Wi-Fi / RS485 communication interfaces, this IoT node integrates seamlessly into environmental monitoring stations, smart cities, agricultural systems, and weather networks.
The transmitter continuously reports real-time UV intensity, temperature, and status data to cloud dashboards or local SCADA systems.

The UV Index Transmitter (IoT Node) functions as a smart environmental sensor that continuously measures UV radiation and wirelessly communicates the data for analysis and control.
It uses a factory-calibrated SiC UV photodiode to detect solar or artificial UV radiation and calculates the UV Index following WMO/WHO standards.
Real-time readings are transmitted through network protocols such as LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi, or Modbus RTU, enabling remote access via cloud dashboards or local gateways.
With low maintenance requirements, long operational life, and traceable calibration, it supports large-scale deployment in smart monitoring networks, agricultural automation, and climate research systems.
