UV-Water-G3/4″ – Industrial-Grade UV Sensor for Water Treatment, Sterilisation and Disinfection System Performance Monitoring

The UV-Water-G3/4″ from SGLUX GmbH is a robust, waterproof UV-C irradiance sensor engineered for continuous monitoring of UV water-treatment systems.
Designed with a stainless-steel G 3/4″ process thread, it mounts directly into UV reactors, measuring germicidal radiation at 254 nm for accurate lamp-output verification and dose validation.
Its solar-blind Silicon Carbide (SiC) detector ensures exclusive UV-C sensitivity, immune to visible and IR light.
The IP68-rated housing and UV-grade quartz window guarantee reliable performance in pressurised and submerged environments.
Factory-calibrated to NIST / PTB standards, the UV-Water-G3/4″ provides repeatable, traceable results essential for DVGW, ÖNORM and US-EPA compliant systems.
Compact, durable and maintenance-free, it delivers precise, real-time irradiance data for drinking-water, wastewater and industrial disinfection applications, ensuring optimal UV-dose control and regulatory compliance.

The UV-Water-G3/4″ continuously measures the germicidal UV intensity within water-disinfection reactors.
Its SiC photodiode, protected by a quartz window and sealed inside a stainless-steel AISI 316 body, generates a linear analog signal proportional to UV irradiance.
The G 3/4″ thread allows easy, leak-free installation directly into standard UV housings.
With solar blindness > 10¹⁰ and active temperature compensation, the sensor ensures reliable readings under variable flow, temperature and lamp conditions.
It is ideal for real-time UV performance validation in municipal, industrial and environmental water-treatment systems.
